The Towngate Theatre is just a three minute walk from Basildon Railway Station, the Bus station and two taxi ranks. It is just a few minutes drive from both the A13 and A127, just follow the signs for the Town Centre.

Car parking

There is ample daytime car parking within a short walk of the Towngate, both surface and multi-storey.

Towngate Theatre rear surface and underground car park - After 6.00pm only

After 6.00pm there is plenty of free car parking at the rear of the Towngate and in the underground car park beneath the next door Basildon Centre offices. (Entry to these is via the service road to the rear of the Basildon Centre from Great Oaks. For directions see Google map directions to Towngate rear car park.).

In addition, there are a number of other nearby privately owned car parks (Please note: The following prices and opening times are checked every few months):
